Center for Advancement of Racial and Ethnic Equity
CAREE's mission is to:
Monitor and report on the progress of African Americans, Hispanics,
Asian Americans, and American Indians in postsecondary education and
improve their educational and employment opportunities in higher
education.
Provide information and counsel to presidents, campus
administrators, state systems, federal policy makers, and other
education organizations on issues and policies that affect people of
color in higher education.
Conduct leadership programs designed to identify, develop, advance,
and sustain people of color into senior academic leadership positions
within higher education.
