ACE, the major coordinating body for all of the nation's higher
education institutions, seeks to provide leadership and a unifying voice
on higher education issues and to influence public policy through
advocacy, research, and program initiatives.
In an effort to strengthen American colleges and universities, the
American Council on Education offers a series of leadership and

The Spectrum Initiative
Advancing Diversity in the College Presidency aims to diversify and
broaden the executive leadership pool in higher education through
programmatic and research initiatives involving university trustees,
current presidents, aspiring leaders, executive search firms, and

Officers
Supported by the Henry Luce Foundation, is a network of approximately 50
CAOs who share promising practices and explore common leadership

A Workshop for Vice Presidents offers an opportunity for vice presidents
(or the equivalent) who will be seeking a presidency within the next two
years to explore presidential leadership, the CEO search process,
