Susan West Engelkemeyer, Dean, School
of Business, Ithaca College (Ithaca, NY)
Engelkemeyer has extensive experience in organizational change and
development. She has held roles as a tenured faculty member, program
director, and director of quality at Babson College (MA). She spent six
years as a senior examiner for the Malcom Baldrige National Quality
Award. Her work focuses on systemic organizational change and
assessment, key performance indicators, and knowledge management. |

Irene W. D. Hecht, Director, Department Chair Leadership
Programs, American Council on Education, and President, Higher Education
Associates (Portland, OR)
Hecht has 25 years of experience as a teacher, scholar, tenured faculty
member, and administrator. As director of the Department Chair
Leadership Programs for the American Council on Education, she now
devotes her time to working with department chairs. |

Mary Lou Higgerson, Vice President for Academic Affairs and Dean
of the College, Baldwin Wallace College (Berea, OH)
Recipient of eight teaching awards and an American Council on Education
Fellow in 1986–87, Higgerson is a regular presenter for the ACE
Department Chair Program. |

Mark L. Putnam, Senior Vice President for Executive Affairs,
Northeastern University (Boston, MA)
Putnam oversees Northeastern University's activities related to
strategic planning, institutional research, and enterprise reporting. He
has extensive senior administrative experience. In addition, he serves
as a frequent evaluator and presenter for the New England Association of
Schools and Colleges. |
