Welcome to the American Council on Education!
 As the unifying voice for higher education, ACE
aims to foster greater collaboration and new partnerships within and
outside the higher education community to help colleges and universities
anticipate and address the challenges of the 21st century and contribute
to a stronger nation and a better world.
To that end, this site helps ACE fulfill one of its three strategic
priorities: providing service that supports colleges, university,
and other higher education and adult learner organizations in their
efforts to serve students and society. You can also read about ACE’s
four areas of focus: access, success, equity and diversity;
institutional effectiveness; lifelong learning; and
internationalization.
On this site, you will find information about our programs and
services, events, and publications, as well as research on a variety of
higher education topics. The site also features easy access to the
latest news about public policy, legislation, and other government
efforts that affect higher education.
