Leave
BALANCE—We believe that a little time off can go a long way.

  • 15 to 20 days of annual leave per year, accrued on a semi-monthly basis.
  • 15 days of sick leave per year, accrued on a semi-monthly basis.

Retirement
GRATITUDE—Our generous retirement package is just one way that we say "Thanks for your commitment!"

  • After you successfully complete six months of service, ACE will make monthly contributions to Teachers Insurance and Annuity Association/College Retirement Equities Fund (TIAA/CREF) or Fidelity Investments (at your choosing) in the amount of 12 percent of your monthly salary.
  • You will also have the option to contribute tax-deferred savings through ACE's Supplemental Retirement Annuity Plan. You can allocate your contribution between two plans—TIAA/CREF and Fidelity Investments.

Medical, Dental, and Vision Insurance
YOU'RE COVERED—Insuring the care of your health, ensuring your happiness.

  • ACE offers medical insurance with one of three health care plans; ACE pays 100 percent of the premium for employee coverage. Medical insurance becomes effective on the first day of the month coinciding with or following the date of hire.
  • As part of its dental insurance plan, ACE pays 100 percent of the premium for employee coverage. Dental coverage becomes effective on the first day of the month coinciding with or following the date of hire.
  • ACE also offers a vision plan, available at the employee's expense.

Life Insurance
NO WORRIES—We hope for the best, but plan for the worst. Your loved ones are in good, solid hands.

  • Life Insurance with ACE covers up to $100,000; we also offer dependent life insurance. In addition, employees may also be eligible to purchase supplemental life insurance.

Travel/Accident Insurance
RESPONSIBILITY—As the eyes and ears of ACE, our business travelers can relax, knowing they're covered.

  • ACE provides business travel accident insurance in the amount of $300,000 for employees who are traveling on ACE business.

Disability Insurance
SAFETY NET—We are committed to your well being, and we weave a strong safety net for you and your family.

  • Long-term disability insurance becomes effective three months after employment, unless the employee was previously covered by long-term disability insurance.

Tuition Assistance
EDUCATION—We practice what we preach.

  • After successfully completing the six-month introductory period, employees are eligible to participate in the tuition assistance plan, which offers $3,000 per year.

Flexible Spending Account
SAVE IT FOR A RAINY DAY—Our flexible spending account allows you to put money away now for medical and dependent care expenses.

  • ACE offers a flexible spending account(s) for unreimbursed medical and/or dependent care expenses. ACE pays the monthly administrative fee of $5 for one account and $8 for two accounts.

Employee Assistance Program (EAP)
ACE, through Sheppard Pratt Health Plan, offers free, confidential counseling to employees and their immediate family members.

Prepaid Legal Services
Employees may enroll in a prepaid legal services plan at a cost of $17.50 per month and a one-time enrollment fee of $20. The plan provides access to law firms that provide a variety of standard legal services.

Metrochek
Employees who use public transportation to commute between home and work can purchase up to $110 per month in Metrochek vouchers and can authorize automatic pretax deduction of Metrochek payments from their salary.

Parking
Parking is available in the NCHE garage for a monthly fee or a first-come first-served basis. Employees may take advantage of ACE's tax-exempt benefit by having parking fees deducted from their semi-monthly paychecks.

  • Independence Day
  • Labor Day
  • Columbus Day (observed)
  • Veterans' Day
  • Thanksgiving and the day after
  • Christmas Eve and Christmas Day
  • Inauguration Day (every 4th year)

In addition to the holidays listed above, ACE also will be closed between Christmas and New Year's Day.
