Commission on Leadership

The Commission on Leadership advises ACE on its program and activities in the leadership area. Through its Executive Leadership and Emerging Leaders Groups, ACE offers an integrated suite of leadership and professional development programs, research, and activities for higher education administrators throughout their careers. ACE's leadership focus includes:

• Programs for presidents
• Programs for chief academic officers and other vice presidents
• Programs for deans
• Programs for rising administrators

Commission members provide guidance and advice on the design and implementation of programs, review issue briefs and other publications, in addition to serving as presenters, conveners, and facilitators for leadership programs. Participation on the Commission also provides networking opportunities for members and a mechanism for members to communicate with the ACE Board of Directors.
