Bryan J. Cook is the director
of ACE’s Center for Policy
Analysis, which
conducts and commissions research on federal and national higher
education policy issues of interest to ACE members, policy makers, other
higher education associations, and the media. Topics on the Center's
agenda include student financial aid, improving college readiness,
demographic trends in higher education, and the college
presidency.
Cook's areas of expertise
include higher education policy, college access, diversity in higher
education, adult education, college costs, and higher education
research. He is the author of the 2006 and 2007 editions of
ACE’s Status of Minorities in Higher
Education and the 2007 Status of the Pell Grant
Program.
Cook holds a master’s and
doctorate in higher education from the University of Michigan, Ann
Arbor.
