Jacqueline E. King directs ACE’s Center for Policy Analysis,
which conducts and commissions research on federal and national higher
education policy issues of interest to ACE members, policy makers, other
higher education associations, and the media. Topics on the
Center’s agenda include student financial aid, improving college
readiness, demographic trends in higher education, and the
college presidency.
King’s particular area of expertise is student financing of
higher education and access to higher education. She is the author of
numerous articles, reports, and book chapters on these topics, including
Gender Equity in Higher Education: 2006. Prior to joining ACE
in 1996, she was associate director for policy analysis at the College
Board.
King holds a doctorate from the University of Maryland, College
Park.
