Participate as an ACE FellowHow to Become an ACE Fellow
Individual candidates who wish to apply must seek their nomination from the president or chief academic officer of their institution, and the institution must be a member of ACE. (Those institutions that are not already members can join ACE by contacting the Membership Department.) The nominator agrees to pay the candidate's salary and benefits throughout the duration of the fellowship. Nominees must have a record of demonstrated leadership. Candidates can demonstrate this record by holding positions such as vice president, dean, or department chair, or being an admissions, development, or student affairs unit director who has exhibited leadership in institution-wide contexts. Another eligible candidate might be a senior faculty member who has skillfully chaired a major committee or the Faculty Senate.
