Millions of people like you have taken the GED Tests to get a better job, continue their education, or fulfill their personal aspirations. This web site will help you understand the steps to take to prepare, take and pass the GED Tests.

GED Tests Cannot Be Taken Online

We want your path to a GED credential to be as satisfying and rewarding as possible. So before you get started, we must remind you that the official GED Tests cannot be taken online; beware of web sites and other sources that tell you otherwise.

You can take the GED Tests almost anywhere in the United States and Canada and internationally at any of the 3,400 Official GED Testing Centers, but you cannot earn a GED credential (sometimes called a diploma or certificate) on the Internet. Read more in our Truth About GED Testing Online.

Accommodations for Test-takers with Disabilities

We want all test-takers to have fair access to the tests. If you have a diagnosed learning disability, physical/chronic health disability, emotional/mental health disability, or Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder you can request accommodations (note: all requests are considered on an individual basis, but all requests are not automatically approved).
