Center for Effective Leadership

The American Council on Education (ACE) is committed to enhancing the capacity of colleges and universities in their efforts to serve students and society.  One way ACE accomplishes this is by offering leadership and professional development programs and activities for higher education administrators throughout their careers—from the moment they decide to pursue an administrative leadership role until they retire from a presidency.  ACE's leadership agenda has two purposes: identifying and advancing emerging leaders, and providing current leadership with the skills, knowledge, and perspectives to be effective.
