veterans, the American Council on Education has supported access to

ACE
Transcript Service
Provides lifelong learning registries for adult learners who have taken
ACE-evaluated military and corporate courses.
Center for Lifelong
Learning (CLLL)
Offers programs and services for colleges and universities, the
military, and business, labor, and industry. Addresses lifelong learning
issues through national initiatives, publications, and workshops.
CenterPoint
Electronic Magazine
Distributes quarterly online news and articles for lifelong learning
professionals.
College Credit
Recommendation Service (CREDIT)
Helps adults obtain academic credit for formal courses and examinations
taken outside college and university degree programs.
FirstStop Web
Site
Provides an online clearinghouse of organizations across six
sectors-business/industry, higher education, international, lifelong
learning, military, and union. This timely information gives
professionals the latest news about what's working and where in lifelong

General Educational
Development Testing Service (GEDTS)
Develops and distributes General Educational Development (GED) Tests. A
GED credential documents high school-level academic skills.
