The host institution pays the $8,000 program fee and provides the Fellow with a professional development budget of up to $14,000 to attend seminars and national meetings, and to visit other campuses.
The nominating and host institutions each pay $4,000 toward the $8,000 program fee, and each institution contributes one-half of the professional development budget (approximately $7,000 per institution), which enables Fellows to attend seminars and national meetings, and to visit other campuses. During the semester that the Fellow remains on the home campus, he or she should have adequate release time to continue participating in Fellows’ activities and to complete assignments. Ideally, the Fellow is free of all former responsibilities and is mentored by the home administrative team.
The nominating institution pays the $8,000 program fee and provides the Fellow with a professional development budget of up to $14,000 to attend seminars and national meetings, and to visit other campuses.
While on a host campus or while at the home campus, the Fellow should be assigned an office close to the Mentor(s). The Fellow also should have a telephone, adequate administrative support, and convenient access to a computer, printer, and the Internet.
The Fellow is responsible for living expenses incurred during the fellowship year.
