The Fellows Experience
Through observation and participation in higher education administration at the top level, ACE Fellows experience:
Host Campus (Work On Site)When Fellows work on site at their host campuses, they pursue various projects that advance their own interests as well as those of their home and host institutions. In particular, they undertake a project specifically designed to contribute to their home (nominating) institutions. The host institutions also keep the Fellows informed of issues and projects on their institutional agendas. Some projects that Fellows have undertaken in recent years have included:
As a result of the ACE Fellows Program, I went from a small private
college in the smallest state in the union to a complex state
institution and a year hearing from the best and the brightest in the
field... From 'e-mail clueless' to technology roundtable leader... From
dismantling every point I made to believing in myself as a leader...
From the day-to-day minutiae to the big picture... From avoiding to
embracing challenges... From seeing 'as through a glass, darkly' to
clarity.
